Hmm. Only one little problem with this. His head is completely still, not looking at anything in particular, and his face is totally lifeless. But his body language is really complex, and makes him look pensive. So, might want to make him look a little more focused on something, in the facial area.
Besides that little nitpick, looks great! Very accurate, too. Looks a lot like Kakashi, especially his hair. Good work!
I like the colouring job! The brush/pencil strokes give the drawing that extra texture and depth. The proportions are good, although I think the hands need to be a bit bigger, and torso a bit smaller (vertically). I think the expression on the face is well done, and the katana just appeals to me for some reason...probably because it takes so much trouble for me to draw one
All in all, a praiseworthy piece...now it all it needs is a background
The coloring looks quite nifty, and the proportions DEFINITELY look better in this one. What did you use to color it, though? Looks like watercolors, but I just want to check. ^_^
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
